Welcome to Sumo Sensei. We are dedicated to providing an authentic and respectful introduction to Japan's national sport. By booking or participating in a Sumo Sensei tour, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Website Use & Conduct
By using the Sumo Sensei website, you agree to use the website and booking services responsibly and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Sumo Sensei reserves the right to restrict access to the website or booking services where necessary to protect the security and integrity of the website or the experience of other guests.
2. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including but not limited to photographs, videos, written content, educational materials, historical descriptions, graphics, and the Sumo Sensei logo, is the property of Sumo Sensei or its respective content owners and partners. This content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or republished without prior written permission.
3. Bookings
A booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully received and a booking confirmation has been issued by Sumo Sensei. Guests are responsible for providing accurate booking information, including their name, contact information, and the number of participants.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations and refunds are subject to the Sumo Sensei Cancellation Policy in effect at the time of booking. By completing a booking, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the applicable cancellation and refund terms. The Cancellation Policy forms part of these Terms and Conditions. 5. Sumo Tournament Tickets
Sumo Tournament Tours include admission to the specified sumo tournament event, subject to ticket availability. Seat locations are determined by the tickets available for the tour and may not be changed or upgraded after booking unless otherwise agreed by Sumo Sensei. Guests are responsible for following all rules and regulations of the venue and tournament organizers.
6. Changes to the Tour
Sumo Sensei reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the tour itinerary or schedule when necessary due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including changes to the sumo tournament schedule, venue operations, weather, transportation disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances. Where possible, Sumo Sensei will provide guests with advance notice of significant changes. Sumo Sensei is not responsible for changes or disruptions caused by the tournament organizers, venue, or other third parties.
7. Guest Conduct & Sumo Etiquette
Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward the wrestlers, other guests, venue staff, guides, and members of the public. Guests must follow the instructions of their Sumo Sensei guide and comply with the rules and etiquette of the venue and tournament. Sumo Sensei reserves the right to ask a guest to leave or refuse continued participation if their behavior is disruptive, unsafe, disrespectful, or violates venue rules. In such circumstances, no refund will be provided.
8. Liability & Personal Responsibility
Guests participate in the tour at their own responsibility and should take reasonable care of their own health, safety, and personal belongings. Sumo Sensei is not responsible for loss, theft, injury, illness, delay, or other inconvenience caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Guests are responsible for obtaining appropriate travel insurance and any insurance coverage they consider necessary for their trip. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
9. Late Arrival & No-Shows
Guests are responsible for arriving at the designated meeting point at the specified time. Late arrival may result in the guest being unable to participate in part or all of the tour. No refund will be provided for late arrivals or no-shows.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By completing a booking with Sumo Sensei, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions and the Sumo Sensei Cancellation Policy.
